The NW Scouters' Club is a co-operative of Scout Troops. Representatives of member Scout Troops gather to share ideas and experience, plan joint activities, and pursue other projects of mutual benefit.
The meeting opened at 19:00. It was decided that Ed Wright would plan the Scouts' Own for Sunday morning. He will be looking for help. Cheri's Rovers will do security for the weekend. More events will be planned including snowshoeing. Cherie will ask Harry to lead campfire in song and merriment. It was suggested that the staff be dressed in costume for the saloon night. A budget was set for beer and pretzels to be served in the saloon. Ed Wright will ask Pam Parker to quartermaster for the staff that weekend and also take care of the barbecue for Friday evening. Each troop will be asked to bring an item for the auction. "Dawson Dollars" will be given out for the items. $200 has been allotted for items as well as donations from various companies. Bandannas will be worn by staff and working crews. Ethan Millard, NWA DAC Youth, will be asked to attend the next meeting. Ken Coyle will email all groups that attended the Camporees in the past to make sure that everyone gets an invitation. We are also looking for someone to emcee in the saloon on the Saturday evening. The meeting was adjourned at 20:30.
