Chief Scout's Award Interviews

Ted estimates that there are 6-8 candidates for the Chief Scout's Award in North Waterloo this year. Scouters felt that Sunday, April 23 would be a good date to interview the candidates. Ted, Mark, and Liam volunteered to participate. More volunteers are welcome. [Jim Williamson indicated later that he is not available on April 23 and would prefer April 30.]

Chief Scout's Award Interviews

This year, there were only six Chief Scout's Award candidates and none for the Queen's Venturer Award. In past years, there have been 16-18 for the CSA. Ted Claxton, Jim Williamson, Wayne Hessel, and Mike Smith conducted the interviews. The interviews went well. The Scouts appreciated having the sense that others care about their accomplishments.

The group discussed interviews for candidates for the Chief Scout's Award. Interviewers will be available on April 18 and 25. Scouters who volunteered to assist on April 18 are Ted Claxton, Liam Morland, Pierre Michaels, Wayne Hessel, and Chuck Myers; and on April 25, Ted Claxton, Mike Smith, Liam Morland, Wayne Hessel, and possibly Chuck Myers.
