Regrets

It was decide at the last meeting to support the area team with the 75th anniversary camp with and along with our camporee. The Scouters discussed the proposed resolution in detail. The issues raised were as follows:

• Demonstrations: build a bridge over the river
• Event/souvenir: i.e. saw off an oval disc from a log and burn something into it.
• Oldest Active Scouter in the district
• Award Ceremony: hold it in conjunction with the camporee
• Queen's Scout awards at the beginning of the campfire.
• Swimming up ceremonies
• Youth should come away with a souvenir.

• July 30, 2008: Roast Beef dinner and camp fire at Camp Everton at 18:00.
• October 3–5, 2008: CEC Camporee at Blue Springs

The meeting was adjourned at 20:00. The next meeting will be Tuesday, August 26. 2008. IT will be a Summer Pot Luck at Camp Mohawk.
